The event will feature a Gi & No-Gi tournament with a heavily anticipated Super-Fight match in-between the regular tournaments
The super-fight match will see a submission only, 10 minute battle between
(Bellator MMA fighter & BJJ Brown Belt) JJ Ambrose and a yet to be announced special guest opponent.

The Kata Beach Open is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu & Submission Grappling tournament set to be held outdoors
right on the beach in Kata – Phuket, Thailand.
The concept brings the beach, sun and fun to the BJJ tournament structure.
The event will be held one time a month during the high season (Approx 4 events a year)
While the tournament will be held in the relaxed surrounding of Kata beach, IBJJF rules and a certified IBJJF referee will be seeing over the entire tournament.
Directions to Kata Beach:
From Chalong head to chalong round about (chalong circle) turn right heading towards kata beach.
Follow the road all the way in to Kata until you see signs to turn left to go to Kata Beach.
Once on the Kata Beach road look for the Kata Beach Resort (many elephant statues in a water feature)
Turn left at the Kata Beach Resort – you will see the beach and beach access.
Kata Beach Open will be about 200m down along the beach from the access point.

Transport will also be available from Phuket Top Team to Kata Beach via taxi.
