前輕重量級冠軍雷納托“Babalu”索布拉爾他是最後一個與ONE FC簽約。他是葛西巴哈在加州的館長，而這次他將首次在ONE FC三月的新加波賽事中出賽！

在UFC的傳奇生涯中，在他45場的職業生涯賽事中Babalu已經贏得了36的勝利。

而他最新的一個訊息就是和ONE FC合作，出賽三月份在新加坡的賽事，而這個團體(ONE FC)同時也是和日本的DREAM、菲律賓的URCC、澳洲的CFC和南韓的ROAD FC合作。在2012年的新計劃就是對於每一場在亞洲的MMA賽事中取得勝利。

Former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Renato “Babalu” Sobral is the latest fighter to sign on with One FC. The headmaster at Gracie Barra Cerritos, in California, should make his debut for the Asian promotion in March 2012, joining the card for the One FC/Dream show in Singapore.

With a storied career in the UFC, Babalu has won 36 of his 45 career fights and overcome the likes of Chael Sonnen, Mauricio Shogun, Kevin Randleman and Robbie Lawler. The Brazilian’s last appearance under the Strikeforce banner came in December of 2010, when he was knocked out by Dan Henderson in the first round.

An interesting partnership was recently formed between Singapore’s One FC, Japan’s Dream, as well as Filipino promotion URCC, Australia’s CFC and South Korea’s Road FC. For 2012, the plan is for the champions of each of the events to face off and unify titles, crowing the first Asian MMA champions.
